It’s the middle of conference season, and it looks like there’s a lot of excitement about the big Xbox & Bethesda show tomorrow on June 12th. However, the Xbox Live service seems to be feinting under the excitement, with several aspects of the service apparently having gone completely offline for various users on Twitter.
Xbox Live Is Down
“We’re aware that some users may not be able to sign in or launch games at the moment. Please stay tuned for updates here.”
It’s unclear what exactly has gone wrong over at Xbox, or how long it will take Microsoft to fix it, but we can only hope that things are fixed as soon as possible so gamers can enjoy their wide selection of titles. It’s not quite clear if players can’t access ALL of their games or if it’s simply games that they’ve installed via Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Games Pass. It also seems like players are struggling to join online games or start their own.
What can we expect at the Showcase?
Tomorrow Xbox and Bethesda are taking on a showcase together, with the show confirmed to run for 95 minutes and several games rumoured to be shown off such as Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Avowed, and Banjo-Kazooie. Of course, we can also expect a pretty big list of games that will be coming to Games Pass Day 1, and maybe even some games that will shadowdrop during the event itself.
We’ll be covering the entire show over here at WePC, taking a look at every major title and every major development to come out of the show. You can tune in right here live, where will keep you constantly updated about all of the games that are shown off during the event with more details on all of the biggest titles talked about.
